2023 Meritage Dual Blend

This extremely balanced, elegant wine is a blend of 51% California Merlot and 49% California Cabernet Franc. This Bordeaux style wine was modeled after wines from the Saint Emilion region of France. This wine is our most consistenty and highly award winning wine:  this blend over 4 vintages has scored Double Gold in 2021 and again just recently in 2026, Gold in 2022 and in 2023 in the very compettitive Meritage category. The 2023 vintage is a classic style with 13.9% alcohol by volume. The wine has a wonderful aroma of fruit and oak, specially due to a minimum of 2 years in French Oak barrels. It has a firm tannin structure with a full bodied mouthfeel, and lingering pleasant finish. Pairs excellently with any red meat or hearty dish. This wine will benefit from cellar aging, it can age gracefully for 10 years; however, it is drinking beautifully now.
